The Jose Dance Force has evolved to what it is today under the direction of Adam Jose who has many years of dance experience and a continuous dedication to his dancers and families. Established in 1958 by Sonny Jose, a nationally renowned dancer, The Jose Dance Force was established to bring excellence in dance instruction and performance to Tasmania.

The Jose Dance Force specialises in competitive dance classes for 3 year olds through to adults of all ages in an atmosphere that makes learning to dance fun. Our objective is to share our love of dance with students of all ages and abilities, prepare dancers who wish to enter the professional world of dance, and provide training in proper technique and style to all of our students.

We believe in creating a sense of achievement, pride and accomplishment in our students, expanding their knowledge and love of dance, while increasing their self confidence and self esteem.  Our program is aimed at teaching proper dance technique, terminology and posture, no matter age or ability level.   All students participate in our annual dance concert, as well as the Southern Tasmanian Dance Eisteddfod.

At The Jose Dance Force we strive to create a place where others can experience the love, joy and self-expression in the art of dance.   Our staff all share the same passion for dancing and teach to help the beginner and also the most accomplished dancer to excel. We believe in, and try to live by our mission statement every day… 'We exist to teach others to love and excel in the art of dance, within a healthy and supportive environment.' I invite you to experience the difference that you will find here at The Jose Dance Force"- Adam Jose Owner/Principal.
